The name “Songs of Hesperides” was inspired by the origin of the term "Hesperidium", typically referring to citrus fruit. It originates from the Greek myth of the Hesperides, the nymphs known for their beautiful, clear voices and singing, who guarded the mythical "golden apples" in a blissful garden in a far western corner of the world.
